Your Contribution to Ambururu
A small act. An enduring forest.
Not just names on plaques — stories of why they came, and why they returned.
"Planting a tree at Ambururu wasn't just about conservation — it was about leaving a legacy. Every time I visit, I see my tree growing, and it reminds me that small actions create lasting change."
"Bringing our university group to plant trees was transformative. Seeing students come together for conservation showed the power of collective action. Ambururu's commitment is genuinely inspiring."
"As someone who believes justice extends to the natural world, planting a tree here was an expression of that conviction. The forest is a courtroom where nature always wins."
"As a medical professional I see daily what poor environmental health does to communities. My tree at Ambururu is my prescription for a healthier Siaya County."
Green Badge Honours is Ambururu's living register of conservation. Every person who plants a tree receives a personalised wooden plaque tagged to their tree, and their name is permanently recorded in the Digital Ledger above. It is a hall of fame for the forest itself.
Book any Experience that includes tree planting, or join one of our organised conservation drives. During your visit you will plant a native species, receive a personalised tag, and be added to this register within 30 days.
Absolutely. We maintain a georeferenced record of every planted tree (visible in the Ledger's Forest Map view). Our guides can take you directly to yours. Many honourees return annually to mark birthdays, anniversaries, or simply to sit with what they started.
Yes, and we actively encourage it. Universities, law firms, hospitals, and corporations have all participated. Group events can be tailored around team-building, CSR programming, or academic research. Contact us to arrange a dedicated conservation day.
Each certificate records the honouree's full name, their organisation, the exact date of planting, the native species planted, the tree's unique tag ID, and its grid reference in Musanda Forest. Certificates can be viewed and printed from the Digital Ledger above.
The forest remembers everyone who showed up for it. Plant your tree, earn your plaque, join the Ledger, and leave something behind that will outlast us all.
